26, 32, 38 & 60 inch Sound Creation Earth Gongs (tam tams) have the most distinct voice and character of all the Paiste gongs.
In comparison to Symphonic and Planet gongs, Sound Creation gongs have a more raw and spread-out sound (in contrast the Sym & Planet gongs have a smoother and focused sound). The SC gongs have deep bass tones and great dynamics. They are great for sound baths, sound meditation, sound effects, music exploration & music therapy.The face of every 26, 32, 38 & 60 inch Sound Creation Gong has little indentations and bumps (aka nipples) and this along with the slightly thinner metal (compared to Paiste Symphonic gongs & Planet gongs) makes the vibrations move in unpredictable and beautifully expressive ways.
