About the Finish: The rich purple glaze is highly textured. If you have difficulty keeping your drum from slipping when you play, this is the drum for you. The rough texture of the darbuka shell will help you keep the drum still. Also, playing is easy on the hands and fingers; the narrower rim on the shell makes playing teks and snaps comfortable and fun!
