Description: These beautiful doumbeks have been in production since 1973! They are HAND MADE in the USA by master potter Björn Straube. The fixed Remo Fiberskyn head has the smooth texture and feel of goat skin, but is synthetic and animal free! The Remo fiberskyn head, along with the ceramic shell, produce clear, beautiful tones. This drum is very resonant, with a strong, warm bass (doum) and pretty, high (tek) tones. If you are traveling with this drum we recommend using a bag to protect the beautiful ceramic shells.
