The Sabian Zodiac Gong represents a unique and set-apart series of gongs. These gongs, although Oriental in origin, go beyond the Asian gong sounds & styles.

The Zodiac gongs are made from SABIAN's unique Nickel-Silver alloy. This alloy along with the unique hammering, gong shape & metal thickness all create a beautiful, unique &, we believe, amazing gong. Now the 24" Zodiac & the 28" Zodiac sound very different.

The 24" is not as sensitive as the 28" Zodiac. In other words, where the 28" Zodiac responds great a soft, medium & loud volumes, the 24" responds best at medium & loud volumes. Yet like the 28" Zodiac the 24" Zodiac has a very warm bass - excellent for a 24" gong - and strong vibrations. The 24" Zodiac also has overtones & pleasing harmonies.

The 28" Zodiac has an great robust sound, including a wonderfully warm bass. It is an unknown gem for healing artists, sound therapists & any percussionist and musicians who loves beautiful tones. The bass region of the 28" Zodiac has a sound that is reminiscent of a human voice & choral music. At medium & soft volumes this singing quality comes out beautiful. This sound makes the 28" Zodiac one our favorite gongs among all gongs.
