Gong Description: The Zodiac is made with Sabian's unique Nickel-Silver Alloy & produces a clear fundamental and with sustaining overtones. The bass tone can be felt by players and listeners (almost entirely lost in all the videos). It is very effective for sound therapy, meditation, & gong baths, especially when played at soft, medium-soft & medium volumes. The overtones sing and can produce choral-like sound, especially when played at soft, medium-soft and sometimes medium volumes. When played at louder volumes it produces a wash effect with the bass tone underneath it.

The Zodiac Gong represents a unique series of gongs. No other gong that we know of has the same hammering style as the Zodiac. Plus, it's nickel-silver alloy is special. The design of Zodiac gong is part Chinese and shows similarities to the Chinese Wind gong, but the Zodiac gong is distinct and has it's own effects and beautiful singing qualities.
