The 26 - 60" Sound Creation Earth Gongs have a different design and effect from the 11 - 16" Sound Creation Chakra Gongs.
The 11 - 14" Sound Creation Chakra Gongs produce a clear fundamental & bell-like singing tone with some overtones. Their clear tones can help clear one's chakras and renew one's energy.
The 26 - 60" Sound Creation Gongs have dozens (if not hundreds) of hand-hammered indentations and bumps (aka nipples). The hand-hammered nipples, along with the slightly thinner metal (compared to Paiste Planet & Symphonic Gongs), makes the metal and it's vibrations move in unpredictable and beautifully expressive ways. The nipples and thickness of the Sound Creation gongs help give them their unique voicing, character & expressiveness.
The 26 - 60" Sound Creations commonly produce swelling sounds and ascending pitches. Sometimes they produce purring, growling or gargling-like sounds. They are quick to respond and extremely nuanced. The 26, 32, 38 or 60" Sound Creations have a rich, deep bass with subtleties of sound that make them amazing for meditation, sound baths, music therapy and music & sound exploration/special effects.
