LP designed these Mini timbales after LP's industry leading, full-size, Tito Puente Timbales, which are made in 12 & 13" timbale shells, 13 & 14" shells & 14 & 15" shells.
Each Mini Timbale drum produces a penetrating percussive effect, as well as traditional center-of-head, rim-shot, and pretty shell timbres.
The sound produced from head shots is strong and dry (by contrast a splash cymbal produces a strong but wet, and splashy, sound)
The dry Mini Timbale sound matches with any percussion set up and can be easily incorporated into a drum kit
(Mini Timbales do not include sticks - all other LP Timbales do)
