Gong Description:
It takes minimal effort to bath in the sound of the 47" Wind Gong. The bass tone is supreme and its classic Wind Gong shimmering effect is like no other gong! The bass penetrates into the deepest parts of the body and acts as a massage to our inner most parts - amazing for sound healing and sound baths. The gong is responsive at all volumes and when the volume reaches a threshold it produces an explosion of shimmering sounds - absolutely awesome!!! Of course, it can be played at earth shaking volumes but it is also a sensitive, nuanced instruments which sound fantastic at all volumes.Made in China
Includes a large cloth covered mallet with solid wood handle. This cloth covered mallet is sufficient to enjoy the gong. However, there are higher quality mallets, which do make a difference in terms of the sound quality and percussive impact, which occurs when the mallet strikes the gong. If you want to explore different sounds that other mallets make, then we recommend the Mike Balter Heavy & General Mallets, M6 & M7 Paiste Mallets; & Friction Mallet.
