Description: The Mali pro djembes are our favorite djembes! Every detail is carefully attended to.

Each djembe is meticulously hand-carved to perfect proportions by master djembe makers:

The bearing edges are rounded, perfectly balanced and smooth

Wood beautifully sanded and finished inside and out with liquid shea butter

The rope is premium grade - European 2-part polyester cord is used for the rope

The metal rings [for the tuning system] are custom welded to fit each drum perfectly!

The grain and color of the wood are beautiful - some of our customers even use it as sculpture in their house! And yet the sound is even better!

The bass is awesome - deep, warm and long sustaining; the slaps are perfectly crisp and the opens sing, sing, sing!

These djembes are so well made that it makes playing easier and that means more fun!
