A Basic 6/8 Afro-Cuban Pattern

Key

O = Open note played at the edge of the drum.

C = Closed, or muffled note played near to or at the center of the drum head.

S = Slap note played at the center of the drum head (slightly off to one side).

R = Right hand

L = Left hand

> = Accent
