Shells: Select North American Sugar Maple Shells
- Shells, which are 6 inches to 15 inches are 6 ply, 4.5 mm thick
- Shells, which are 16 inches to 24 inches are 7 ply, 5.3 mm thick
- Snares are 10 ply, 7.5 mm thick

BC100 Articulated Claw Hook: Articulated Claw Hook: The Articulated Claw Hook allows for easy and quick head changes because the tension rods do not have to be completely removed to exchange heads. Studded Gaskets: Many companies offer gaskets, but unique only to Taye is our patented Studded Gaskets. These Studded Gaskets are durable and will not wear and crack years down the line. They provide the industry's best isolation between the shell and lugs, and eliminate any rattle or squeak which can be picked up by sensitive stage or studio microphones.
