NOTE #1 when using with LP Traditional Bongo Rims: The Remo tucked bongo heads can fit LP traditional rims but a given head may need to be squeezed and muscled past the ears of the rim. (The ears are the part of the rim which the tuning lugs connect to.) Please note, because it's a tight fit, some of the head (like the outside-bottom portion of the head) may get scuffed if it rubs hard enough against the inside portion of the ears. Also, the LP rawhide head is better quality than the Matador rawhide head, however the Matador rawhide heads are typically a little deeper/taller than LP rawhide head.)
