The Fiberskyn is very responsive and resonant, making it even easier to producer conga tones. Remo Fiberskyn is designed to have the look & appearance of rawhide skin. Fiberskyn heads have the brightest timbre among the Remo Synthetic heads (Fiberskyn, Nuskyn & Skyndeep). Accordingly, Fiberskyn conga heads have a brighter timbre than most rawhide heads. All Remo synthetic heads are temperature and weather resistant. This allows the heads to stay in tune longer than most or all rawhide heads.
